I started to put away a nest of stuffed animals...
when one of the stuffed animals moved.
After screaming hysterically and doing a little, "rats are everywhere" dance, all my children came to help laugh at me.
Sure, the dog is easy to spot if you are looking for him.
I've decided to stop putting away other people's stuffed animals, less scary.
Our two youngest children were born with a rare error of metabolism called Fatty acid Oxidation Disorder. FOD makes it necessary for them eat carbohydrates every 2 hours to prevent life threatening hypoglycemia. When their bodies are stressed with normal childhood illnesses they need carbohydrates on an hourly basis and sometimes have to be hospitalized for I.V.s of a dextrose solution to keep up with their metabolic needs.
Flexibility has been the key to adjusting our home school with the addition of chronically ill toddlers. Join me at the The Flexible Homeschooleras I fall down and get back up. I love comments:)
